"The Race for the Rest of Us

The 4th annual Walla Walla Sunrise Rotary Point .5K "The Race for the Rest of Us" was held on Sunday, September 18, at Quirk Brewing, 425 B. Street - in the airport district - Walla Walla, Washington, where we welcomed more than 150 participants.

Over $11,000 was raised this year, which benefited the YWCA and Friends of Children of Walla Walla.

THE "RACE" FOR THE REST OF US

The Walla Walla Point .5K is 500 meters of grueling terrain over pancake flat paved road.

Point 5 Kilometers = 1/2 of a kilometer = 546.8 yards = .31 miles = 1640 feet = 19,685 inches.

Your efforts and contributions will benefit mentor recruitment for Friends of Children of Walla Walla, healthy relationship programs for youth at the YWCA, and Sunrise Rotary.  

                                  AND

$30 to "race" also gets you a beverage ticket, pretentious European oval sticker for your car window, and a t-shirt for the first 200 registrations.

Costumes and Teams Encouraged!
